Tuesday afternoon, we finally got a quick, much needed rain.
As for the garden ...
... my mulch is being put to good use.
Above from top left, counterclockwise,
is dill, squash and zucchini,
assorted peppers,
eggplant with volunteer tomato, and basil.
Baby foxgloves, amaranthus, castor bean, assorted fulgurite.
From left:
cucumber and baby basil,
assorted peppers with volunteer dill,
cucumbers,
jalapenos,
more basil.
Top row: peppers and tomato.
Middle row: scallions and three types of beans.
Bottom row: volunteer zinnia and assorted peppers.
Right hand row: jalapenos.
Top right: The rake I rode in on.
