Christmas Baking. Day 2. Cookie #5. Rolo Cookies.

Wednesday. Day 2 of Christmas Baking. And first off is Rolo Cookies.
Ingredients for Rolo Cookies: 2 sticks butter 1 1/4 cups sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract 3/4 cup cocoa 2 1/4 cups flour 1 tsp baking soda package of Rolos Cream butter. Add in sugars, then eggs and vanilla. In another bowl mix cocoa, flour, and baking soda. Add dry ingredients to butter mixture. Roll 1 TB dough into a ball. Flatten into palm of hand. Place 1 Rolo in center. Bring sides together and roll into a ball. Roll balls in raw sugar - turbinado. Place on baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
Mix flour, cocoa, and baking soda.
Cream butter and add in sugar.
Cream until nice and fluffy and add in brown sugar.
Action shot!
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Add in vanilla.
Gradually add in dry ingredients to butter mixture.
Enjoy the monotony of unwrapping all of these.

Roll in turbinado sugar.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes.
