Thanksgiving Moreovers. Part 2.

Fiesta Bowls!

I'm thinking of ways to disguise the turkey.
Today I made Fiesta Bowls for my little Hawthornelets.

I brushed tortillas with melted butter,
then gave them a sprinkling of cumin and, cayenne, and paprika.

Bake at 350 degrees until lightly toasted - about 10 minutes.
For the filling,
I sauteed chopped turkey along with chopped onions and peppers.
I seasoned the mixture with cumin,cayenne, and oregano.

 I added a quick salsa -
1 large chopped, peeled tomato,
some chopped red onion,
a tablespoon each sugar and vinegar,

 A sprinkling of lettuce.

 I almost forgot the shredded cheese.

 These were consumed with gusto.
