Monday's Baking.

First up, I made some lllllovellllly LLLLLLllllemon Bars.




Crust Ingredients:

2 cups flour
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

Mix together flour and sugar.

Cut in the butter.


























Press INto buttered 9 x 13 pan.




Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

While the crumb crust bakes, blend together:

2 cups sugar
4 aigs
6 TB flour
6 TB lemon juice
1 tsp baking powder
grated zest from 2 lemons

Pour lemon mixture over baked crust and bake an additional 24 minutes.
























Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and cut INto squares.




Rosie always throws herself INto her work.

Cooking is a lot of work but it can also be a lot of fun!

Watch out for that sugar rush!

  3. Hubby already had a Google acct. to he can track stats on his business website (Google Analytics). I just logged on, created an identity for me when I blog, and VOILA! I sure love reading your blogs - we're the same age w/ very similar interests so I can so relate to much of what you say. Hey! Made the gateau yesterday - only took me just shy of 5 hrs. prep and another 2 to bake it. I had never even made a crepe before! But I done good. Gonna use fresh dill next time, though! 'Til next time ...
