Today, Rosie started with
Praline Cookies.
Now, my Christmas present to all of you is all of my arrrusssipppees for my Christmas baking. I do this every year - for family and friends and neighbors - about 30+ different cookies and candies. I have favorites I do every year and I'm always looking for new recipes to add to my repertoire. Usually I start on December 3 since December 2, today, is Middle Hawthorne's birthday. But since I've already been to see him and taken him a Pumpkin Pie, which he requested, I'm good to go.
Happy Birthday, Middle Hawthorne!!!

Drop dough ONto buttered baking sheet.
Bake 12-15 minutes.
Let stand 2 minutes before removing to cooling rack.

Next, I made Gingersnaps.
Cream:
3/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar.
Add:
1 aig
1/4 cup molasses
Sift and add:
2 cups sifted flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp salt
Chill, then roll INto small balls.
Bake on ungreased pan 5-7 minutes at 350.
Usually, at 5 minutes, I take the pans and plop them, to deflate the cookies, then cook the extra 2 minutes.

I'm sooo excited about my new oven. Lookie here. I have THREE pans of gingersnaps going INto the oven. This oven does a regular bake but also does a convection bake. I have it set on convection bake. With my old oven, I could only do 1 baking pan at a time. Now, I'm doing THREE!
WHOOT!!!!
My wonderful gingersnaps.
I doubled this arrrrusipppee too.
