Day 2 - Maggie Valley And The Great Smoky Mountains.

We're on our way to Cherokee, NC, and I shot these videos so you could see the Great Smoky Mountains. The Great Smoky Mountains, straddling the border between North Carolina and Tennessee, are part of the Blue Ridge Mountains which is a division of the larger Appalachian Mountain chain. The Great Smoky Mountains is home of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. Chartered by Congress in 1934, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited national park in the United States. Driving through Maggie Valley, we came across this tower that called out to Rosie, "Climb me, Rosie. Climb me."
So I did.
Can't people just leave their damn cell phones in the car? Do you have to bring the thing everywhere?
Enjoy the views from the tower. And you're welcome. (I do not like heights.)
That's my white truck below.
Now, we're back on the road to Cherokee.
