Speaking of ASS,
I just reminded one of my little Hawthornelets,
"It is not by accident
that the initials
of your first names
spell
ASS."
Then Daughter Hawthorne continued,
"But in order, it's Sara, Samuel, and Andrew."
(All three children go by their middle name,
like their father.)
I responded with,
"Yeah, but I did it ass backward."

shut up for a while.
Ponder that.

ReplyDeleteDon't make it so complicated. I had my children in the order of SSA, then I told Daughter Hawthorne I'd done it ASS backward.
