After seeing Kathy's post
(Kathy of Reinventing a Boomer)
about her ferry trip from
Currituck to Knott's Island,
I checked out Google maps
and found a satellite view of my recent ferry trip
from Hatteras to Ocracoke.
You can see the shifting shoals
and the different colors of the water
and the swirls and it's beautiful.
Just move around with the arrows
and check it out.
Gotta love Google maps.
