Charter, We Have A Hate/Love Relationship.

Have I mentioned that Charter Communications sucks?  No?  Well, last night I was all set to watch Bitchin' Kitchen with Nadia G.  And guess what.  I have no channel 153.  The screen is black. So, I took advantage of the following email Dylan Hill, Senior Social Media Specialist for Charter, sent me when I lost all my email last week on the Charter server, and emailed Charter last night.

BTW, interestingly enough, I lost the email in Windows Live Mail and on Charter, but I found the lost bills (including, ironically, my bill from Charter), on my new phone Mr. H. bought me for my birthday.  It is indeed a Smart Phone!

Last night, after emailing Umatter2Charter@Chartercom.com, I promptly received an email from Iheoma Osuegbu | Social Media Specialist. 

 May I just say I'm thankful I didn't have to speak to Iheoma, because I don't believe for a minute that English is his first language and whenever I call Charter about a problem, I inevitably get someone I can barely understand.

Here's the first email I got from Dylan Hill:

And here's the email I received last night:
Rosie,
Sorry to hear about the black screen on channel 153. I have sent a refresh signal to the DVR if the channel does not come back in 10-15 minutes please reset the DVR by the reset button or the power source. Let me know if this helps.

Iheoma, I thank you for help. I reset everything and I still have no channel 153.  It's not the box.  It's Charter.  Mr. Hawthorne doesn't have channel 153 on his TV either and there's no telling what other channels I'm supposed to have and don't.

Charter, please fix this!
