Please enjoy my roses
and my garden.
I shot these pictures
and drafted this post on May 1.
I'm just getting around to posting it
because I'm finally home from our
week-long trip
and want to do befores and afters
of my garden
for you.
Well, actually for me.
Those lanky green stalks
are my self-seeding larkspurs.
They will be blooming and colorful
and lovely next week.
Because I know my viewers and readers
just can't get enough
of my riveting videography,
I offer you a walking tour of my garden.
I added the next video
because it is full of fun and happiness and joy.
Dear Readers,
Please check in regularly for updates
of the Hawthorne Road Trip.
We left Raleigh this morning
and,
during the drive HOME,
I worked on my Biltmore post,
with the much-needed help of Mr. Hawthorne,
whose job was
to check and see
if my brain was still in sync
with what our tour guides said
and with what I thought I heard them say.
I had to balance and tread a very narrow line.
It was one of those
I know you believe you understood
what you think I said,
but I'm not sure
you realize
that what you heard
is not what I meant.
I'll be posting
pictures and videos of my garden frequently,
whilst I work on my Biltmore posts,
so please bear with me.
Or you can bare with me,
if you like.
Please check in.
Have a cup of coffee.
A glass of wine,
Relax.
Enjoy.
And always check previous posts,
since my posts lately are coming
fast and furious
with my roses.
