While I'm waiting for the rest of my posts
of our trip to write themselves,
I offer you videos I took of my roses,
last week, Sunday, May 2,
the morning we left
for Biltmore.
There's a certain irony here,
since our main destination
on this trip is The Festival of Flowers
at Biltmore in Asheville, NC.
The Festival was April 3 to May 16
and we got to Biltmore
on Tuesday, May 4, and toured the gardens.
Although the gardens were amazingly beautiful,
we missed the peak of the tulips and azaleas.
Those were kind of past peak
and the roses had, I'd say, another week or so
before blooming.
Oh well.
Now I know.
