Day 4 of Rosie's Baking Marathon.
Praline Cookies
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 375.
Melt butter.
Add sugars, egg, flour, and vanilla.
Mix well.
Stir in pecans.
Using a small scoop,
drop dough onto lightly greased baking sheet
2 inches apart.
Bake about 15 minutes.
Let stand 2 minutes before removing from pan.
Remove to rack and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
I must apologize to you.
I was a total slouch Friday.
This is the only thing I baked.

ReplyDeleteSo far, I have made three of your recipes (snickerdoodles, cranberry/pistachio bark and buckeyes). They all turned out delicious! Plan to try at least three more tomorrow. Thanks for the recipes and inspiration.
