Day 4 Of Rosie's Christmas Baking - Praline Cookies.

Friday. Day 4 of Rosie's Baking Marathon.
Our cookie de jour is Praline Cookies.
Powdery, nutty, little confections.
Praline Cookies 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed 1 egg, lightly beaten 1 1/2 cups flour 2 tsp vanilla 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans powdered sugar Preheat oven to 375. Melt butter. Add sugars, egg, flour, and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in pecans. Using a small scoop, drop dough onto lightly greased baking sheet 2 inches apart. Bake about 15 minutes. Let stand 2 minutes before removing from pan. Remove to rack and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Sugar going into melted butter.
Brown sugar jumping into the pool.
Egg going into the mix.
Flour.
Vanilla.
Finally the chopped pecans.
Scoop and place on greased baking pan. Bake about 15 minutes at 375 degrees.
Let baked cookies sit about 2 minutes before transferring to a rack to cool.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Another batch. Another sprinkly.
These just say BITE ME!
I must apologize to you. I was a total slouch Friday. This is the only thing I baked. >Rosie hangs head in shame.<

So far, I have made three of your recipes (snickerdoodles, cranberry/pistachio bark and buckeyes). They all turned out delicious! Plan to try at least three more tomorrow. Thanks for the recipes and inspiration.
